Everhex Privacy Policy (App Store)

Last updated 18 September 2026

Everhex does not require an account. Your game progress stays on your iPhone or iPad. The app shows advertising and offers optional purchases, and it sends our server a few small records so we can keep the game running and know whether our own advertising works. This policy explains exactly what leaves your device, who receives it, and how to control it.

Who this policy is from

This game is published by KATALENA ENTERPRISES PTY LTD, trading as Klara Code. If you have questions about this policy, contact support@klaracode.dev.

Information we collect ourselves

We have no accounts and we never receive your name, email address, phone number, contacts or photos. Our server at klaracode.dev receives these records from the app, each keyed by an install identifier — a random number the app generates the first time it runs, which is not your Apple ID, your device's serial number or its advertising identifier, and which cannot identify you on its own:

• On each launch: the install identifier, the app version, the platform and the date. We use this to count active installs and to know how many players return after installing, so we can judge whether changes to the game are working.

• When you make a purchase: the item bought, its price, the install identifier and the date. We use this to reconcile purchases and to measure our own advertising, as described under Ad campaign measurement.

• At the end of a session: performance figures such as launch time, frame rate, memory use and how long an ad took to appear, together with your device model and iOS version. These contain no identifiers beyond the install identifier and are used only to find and fix performance problems.

• If you redeem a code: the code and the install identifier, so a code cannot be used more times than it allows.

Launch and performance records are deleted after twelve months. These records are stored on infrastructure we rent from Cloudflare, are not sold, and are not combined with any other information about you.

Advertising

The game shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. Through AdMob's mediation, ads may also be supplied by Unity Ads, Meta Audience Network, AppLovin and Pangle (TikTok for Business). Rewarded ads play only when you choose to watch one; interstitial ads appear between runs, never during play.

To serve and measure ads, these networks collect information from your device: your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, your device model and iOS version, which ads were shown and how you interacted with them, and — only if you allow it in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt — your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). If you do not allow tracking, the networks receive no advertising identifier and serve ads that are not personalised to you. Either way the game is exactly the same.

This information is collected by Google, Unity, Meta, AppLovin and Pangle under their own privacy policies, not by us. We receive only aggregate reporting, such as how many ads were shown, and cannot identify individual players from it.

You can change your tracking choice at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security, then Tracking. If you are in a region covered by GDPR or similar laws, the app asks for your consent before serving personalised ads, and you can change that choice from the app's Settings screen. Buying the "Remove Ads" upgrade stops all interstitial advertising.

Ad campaign measurement

We advertise the game on other platforms. On iOS, whether an install came from one of our ads is reported to the advertising network by Apple's SKAdNetwork, which tells the network that an install happened without identifying you or your device to us or to them.

When you make a purchase, the app sends the purchase record described above to our server, and our server forwards the event to the advertising platforms we buy ads from (Meta and Google) so they can measure whether their campaigns lead to purchases. If you have not allowed tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt, that forwarded event carries no device identifiers.

This version of the app contains no Meta SDK and no Google Ads SDK.

Purchases

Optional in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and shares with us only whether a purchase succeeded and which item it was. We never see your card details, billing address or any other payment information. Purchases can be restored on any of your devices from the Store screen using Restore Purchases.

Information stored on your device

The game saves your progress locally so you can continue where you left off. The save file contains only game state: your coins, gems and highest wave reached, your permanent workshop upgrade levels, your Constellation allocation, which weapons you own and how they are equipped, your jewels, your selected difficulty tier, and the timestamps used to calculate offline earnings. It leaves your device only if you use one of the backup options described below.

Backing up your progress

Two optional backups exist, and you choose whether to use either.

Back Up in Settings sends a copy of your save file to our server, where it is stored under a recovery key that is shown to you once. Anyone with the key can restore that save, so keep it private. The copy is kept until you overwrite it with a newer backup or ask us to delete it.

Leaderboard

If you join the leaderboard, the name you choose, your best wave and the install identifier are sent to our server and the name and wave are shown publicly to other players. Choose a name you are happy to have displayed; it does not need to be your real name. You can change it from the leaderboard screen at any time.

Reminders

If you allow notifications when iOS asks, the game schedules reminders on your device, for example when offline earnings are ready to collect. These are created and delivered entirely on the device; nothing is sent to us or to anyone else, and you can turn them off at any time in iOS Settings under Notifications.

Community links

The Discord button opens our community server in the Discord app or your browser. The game sends nothing to Discord; once you leave the game, Discord's own privacy policy applies.

What the app accesses on your device

The app uses internet access to load ads, process purchases and send the records described above. It asks permission before tracking (Apple's prompt) and before sending notifications. It does not use the camera, microphone, precise location, contacts or photos, and it reads and writes only its own files.

Children

This game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the advertising described above, contact us at support@klaracode.dev and we will work with the advertising networks to have it removed.

App Store

You obtained this app through the App Store. Apple collects certain information in connection with distributing, installing and updating apps, independently of us and under its own privacy policy. We receive only the aggregate, anonymous statistics that App Store Connect shows every developer, such as install counts and crash reports. We cannot identify individual users from these.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes your save file and everything in it from your device. A Back Up copy on our server is removed by overwriting it with a new backup, or by sending your recovery key to support@klaracode.dev.

The records our server holds are keyed only by the install identifier and launch and performance records are deleted after twelve months; to have them removed sooner, send the identifier shown at the bottom of the game's Settings screen to support@klaracode.dev.

For the advertising data described above, use iOS Settings under Privacy & Security, then Tracking, to withdraw permission, and Apple Advertising to reset your identifier. Data held by Google, Unity, Meta, AppLovin and Pangle is managed through their own account controls.

Changes to this policy

If a future version adds any feature that collects or transmits data, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be described here. The date at the top of this document shows when it was last revised.
